Training animals is hard and many pet owners just don’t even try to train their pet. They think it’s too hard and takes too much time. And especially with cats, they don’t even seem very interested in learning tricks and getting our attention.
When you learn the right way to train your cat you can do magnificent things like even have your cat use a toilet! It’s pretty easy to do this simply by two things:
- 1. Positive Reinforcing
- 2. Slow, incremental Training
What is Positive Reinforcing?
This is basically rewarding your cat when it does something that you want it to do. If your cat rolls over on your command you reinforce this with a treat or show affection to it.
Training in Increments
This is basically training your cat in slow, step by step movements. For example, train your cat to use the toilet by slowly moving its litter box towards the toilet. Before you know it your cat will be sitting on the toilet!
Using the two methods above is the best and fastest way to train your cat.
